Barley Top: a new collection of my father’s poems to be set to music
I’ve started work on ‘Barley Top’, a collection of poems by my father from various books of his. In the manner of ‘The Matter of Britain’, I have recorded him reading his poetry and am setting it to music. The release will be a book with CD inside. PRE in Rome will once more be releasing this work. In good time. (Which means I have no idea when I’ll finish it, or when they’d like to release it – which is honest but unhelpful, I know.)
