Villa Fest, Rosa Crux and Rouen, on to Tilburg and London.
Definitely autumn now, in The North of England. Had my last glimpses of what summer actually looks like, in Italy and France this September.
Firstly, The Villa Fest; nestling just up from the shore of Lake Trasimeno, Umbria. It’s an intimate-family little festival, and a pleasure to play at. Thanks to everyone, but namely Angy and Jacinto for making such an endearing little treat of a festival. The hottest concert I’ve pretty much ever played. And to those that wished to hug me afterwards I say “I did warn you!” ;)
Next to Rouen, and the mechanical and human delights of Rosa Crux's Dark Ritual night. What a show they put on, what hard work they put in for their audiences. I have the deepest admiration for them; and to top that they are such lovely people too J Huge kisses being blown their way for two excellent shows that it was a pleasure to be a part of. Fell in love with Rouen too, whilst there; and the meal I nearly popped myself with on Saturday was stunning!
Next up, on Friday, is the 013 club in Tilburg. Looking forward to that one, and to being back in The Netherlands. Hope to see you there, those of you with reach of Tilburg.
Finally, just to mention a concert I’ll be partaking in, in London on Thurs 6th October. Myself, and others will be becoming Jo Quail’s band for the night, and backing her as she launches new material and plays the majority of her beautiful album From The Sea. I’ve added all details in my concerts section. Jo makes fantastic music, live-looping her cello. We’ll be The Quailettes?
