Been a lovely whirlwind. Some great reviews of Robot World, which I'll paste links to sometime soon. CDs flowing out nicely. Links will also follow to Where Her Dreams End, an episode of a programme I've just finished writing the music for. Even gets a bit synth-pop at times, though predicatably its rather stringy ;)
Leipzig WGT was stunning, had a fantastic whirling-dervish-like time, flitting from onstage guesting with Mercy Design on the Friday, followed by more guesting with Tony Wakeford at The Pagan Village on Saturday, and yet more geusting later with the wonderful Faun, who ripped the roof of the place. Pretty incredible as it was roofless to start with! My own show in Centraltheatre went like a dream, for me at least. A slight comedy moment whilst rushing to the theatre, getting backstage and then not being able to find the stage. Door after door of towel rooms, green rooms, laundry rooms, prop rooms. Luckily I made it out on stage in the end. And blew some lights whist I played. And some minds hopefully.
Certainly so (he he!) in Denmark at the Fanø Free Folk Festival, where there was a great 'audience-moved-to-tears / hugs' ratio going on after the show. Fantastic little festival, warm people and picture-postcard beautiful island that you could eat up in just one mouthful. (Though it might be a bit sandy). Slept on a four-foot bed but was drunk enough not to be able to find it or the house it was in, for ages. So, was more than happy when I eventually did fall into bed. Thanks again to all concerned for a lovely time.
