Estonia and beyond

Estonia's Darkland Fire festival, and into the New Year

Estonia's Darkland Fire Festival was a lovely event. Despite extreme weather (even for Estonia) of snow and blizzards, the event managed a beautiful warmth. Bands and audience had their troubles getting there, but did so; from Denmark, Finland, Germany, Russia, and even London. Respect sent to all of you!

I really enjoyed playing the gig, and the warmth with which I was greeted. Good to play with old friends Of The Wand And The Moon (DK) and Job Karma (PL).

Thanks go out to Risto and Vesta for their hard work with the festival, and everyone who came and played and saw. I enjoyed the ten foot snow drifts too :)

As announced in the news section, my father has an exhibition of his paintings in Todmorden (West Yorkshire) in February next year. The gallery is the rather pretty Platform One Gallery, formerly the Old Parcels Office, Todmorden Railway Station. I’ll be performing some short looping sets, possibly on February 12th. I’ll be adding some pictures of my father’s paintings to this site in the next few weeks.
