Birmingham concert

Birmingham and beyond; album fairies and magic theatres…

Thanks to those of you who came out to The Hare & Hounds in Birmingham for the concert last night. Was nice to meet and talk to some of you. Big thanks go to Andy (Radio Black Forest) for his efforts in promoting some different and entertaining stuff; he's bringing all sorts of interesting bands from all over the world, including Japan and China (and indeed, Sheffield ;-) to Birmingham, so get out there and attend if he's putting something on and you're in that part of the country – it'll be worth it for sure!

Lovely to see some old friends, and meet some new ones. Really enjoyed catching up with, and watching Rose and band, and Joanna Quail (from SonVer) was just delightful with her solo cello and loop pedal songs. Lovely to see someone enjoying playing and putting so much into it. Strings and loops, yeah! I am not alone in the universe!

‘Star Wood Brick Firmament’ has gone to the special factory where CD fairies work tirelessly painting all the covers, and etching music into little sliver discs. So it'll be ready soon :-)

Next concert is Sheffield, and The Lantern Theatre, Friday May 7th, at 8pm
